CosmoCom’s Innovative Pure IP Call Center Technology
Garners Top National and Local Awards

HAUPPAUGE, NY, May 10, 1999 – CosmoCom, Inc. (www.cosmocom.com), the leader in virtual call center solutions, today announced that its call center technology, CosmoCall, earned two prestigious awards this month. Call Center magazine’s Editors’ Choice Award and the 1999 LISA (Long Island Software Award).

According to the editors of Call Center Magazine, winners of its Editors Choice Award, "represent the best in today's call center technology."

"CosmoCom is honored to be recognized by the editors of Call Center magazine," said Ari Sonesh, CosmoCom’s President and CEO. "This acknowledgment of the value of our product from the people who are most knowledgeable about our market is a tribute to the efforts of the entire CosmoCom team."

The Long Island Software Awards, presented by LISTnet (Long Island Software and Technology Network), recognize excellence in software development by Long Island based companies. CosmoCall was recognized for Outstanding Achievement in the Telecom Category and was awarded the LISA for Overall Best Product in all categories.

Stephen Dellutri, CosmoCom’s VP Engineering, accepted the LISA award, saying, "CosmoCom is thrilled to have been recognized by our Long Island peers with this prestigious award. We especially want to thank our hard-working employees, our investors, and the Long Island Software Association for acknowledging our leadership in developing the next big thing in Internet commerce."

These two awards are just the latest in a series of honors received by CosmoCom in recent months. These include Product of the Year Awards from Call Center magazine and Call Center Solutions magazine, recognition from pulver.com in its "Cool Apps" contest and being named one of the Harvard Business School Club of New York’s "Early Stage Honor Roll" entrepreneurs.
