Globecomm Selects CosmoCom ACD Technology for its New Agility Deal

Long Island Companies Team Up for IP-over-Satellite Disaster Recovery Solution

Hauppauge, N.Y. – January 27, 2003CosmoCom, Inc., the leading provider of IP-based, next generation contact center platforms, today announced that CosmoCall Universe was selected as the automatic call distribution (ACD) platform supporting the newly expanded agreement between Globecomm Systems Inc. and Agility Recovery Solutions.

Globecomm provides global end-to-end satellite-based communication solutions from its Long Island teleport, and Agility is the premier provider of on-site recovery and business continuity solutions across the US and Canada. Under their agreement announced on January 9, Globecomm will provide Agility with dedicated bandwidth, teleport and network services needed for disaster recovery, and design, implement and maintain an automated call distribution (ACD) network based on CosmoCall Universe.
