Orbis Telecom Provides Offshore Contact Center Services Powered by CosmoCom

Distributed platform uses international VoIP for blended inbound and predictive dial outbound service

MELVILLE, NY – March 17, 2003 – CosmoCom, Inc., a leading provider of IP (Internet Protocol) based contact center technology, today announced that contact center outsourcer Orbis Telecom has launched services based on the CosmoCall Universe platform. Orbis's multi-site contact center is based in Florida and includes an offshore facility in Ecuador with bilingual Spanish/English-speaking agents.

Orbis provides both inbound and predictive dial outbound services in Spanish and in English. Knowledge of both languages is especially important for outbound services, since the preferred language of the person answering the call could be either one. With the all-IP CosmoCall Universe, Orbis reduces the cost of supporting Ecuador-based agents by using VoIP (Voice over IP) via a cost effective satellite communication link. The CosmoCall Universe servers in Florida can route calls via IP to agent workstations in Ecuador. Customers can interact in Spanish or in English, via telephone, Internet, or e-mail. Skills-based routing ensures that calls always reach the most qualified agents available.
