BT Selects CosmoCall Universe for Multimedia Contact Center Platform

Global Service Provider’s Contact Center On-Demand Offers a New Way to Deliver Services  

MELVILLE, NY – March 31, 2003 – CosmoCom announced today that BT has selected the CosmoCall Universe platform for its hosted Multimedia Contact Center (MCC) service. BT Ignite, BT’s business services and solutions division, announced the MCC service in December 2002. CosmoCom, a leading provider of next generation contact center technology, specializes in carrier class contact center platforms for network service providers.

The first in the world to bring together voice, video and online customer interactions on to an IP platform hosted in the network and available globally, BT’s MCC provides businesses with comprehensive contact center functionality without the need to purchase or manage onsite infrastructure. The offer ensures all communications with customers, including voice, email, online chat and web cams are filtered into a single virtual queue and managed globally. According to BT, MCC gives customers control of their contact center, global reach, fast and cost effective deployment, and peace of mind.
